22/03/2026: Upon arrival, the exterior of the hotel wasn't great.
The bar and restaurant had pleasant decor.
The superior room (340) was adequate except for the outdated windows, tiny bathroom with noisy plumbing, and no soundproofing.
The standard rooms were very dreary.
The pool was a good size and the temperature was perfect, but the surrounding area, ceiling, and staircase were really unpleasant to look at. Dinner was good but too large for my taste (especially the ravioli). Breakfast was good except for the low-quality honey.
The staff were charming and attentive. In short, for me, it's a good establishment, but not up to the standard of a three-star hotel I frequent. The main drawback, for me, is that the rooms need to be made more welcoming.
16/03/2026: The hotel is really well located, with a superb view of Mont Dore and the valley. The heated pool also has a view. The room was very nice.
The restaurant was excellent; we ate very well, both the cocktails and the main courses were truly high quality. We had our baby with us, and they were very easy to work with and well-suited to our needs. And the staff were absolutely fantastic. A huge thank you for your warm welcome, your helpfulness, and your attentiveness in every department (reception, restaurant manager, housekeeping, breakfast staff, etc.).
