10/10/2026: A pizzeria I highly recommend! A very friendly atmosphere, A fantastic waiter (Samuel), And divine pizzas—the crust is excellent and very generously topped. Excellent value for money. If we return to Mont-Dore, this will be a must-visit.

12/09/2026: Passing through Mont-Dore for a solo hiking weekend, I had a wonderful evening at A Casa Nostra. A truly delightful discovery: the Sancy pizza was excellent, as was the crème brûlée to finish the meal. 😋 Special mention also goes to the team, who were incredibly welcoming, friendly, and attentive… even introducing me to Diet Coke on the waiter's recommendation! 😄 I came alone, but I certainly didn't feel lonely. A warm atmosphere, a superb team, and above all, a delicious meal. Thank you for this lovely evening; I will gladly return on my next trip to Mont-Dore! 🙏

27/09/2026: A warm welcome and excellent cuisine, as always. We've been coming here regularly for three years and are always delighted! Time seems to have stood still since the 1930s! An old zinc bar, photos of jazz musicians on the walls, rustling curtains, bistro tables and chairs: your journey begins with the décor and continues on the plate with simple, delicious cuisine made with fresh ingredients and bursting with flavor. We love it!

07/09/2026: Wonderful service, atmosphere, and delicious food! My father and I like to have a strong breakfast as we are traveling and don’t always have time to stop for food. This certainly exceeded our expectations and was tasty but still very healthy (: Merci to the staff here for an enjoyable breakfast!

12/10/2026: An excellent experience at Auberge de la Golmotte. The €35 set menu offers remarkable value for money. From starter to dessert, everything was perfectly executed: a delicious Cantal cheese tart served with a side salad, a pike-perch fillet with a melt-in-your-mouth beurre blanc sauce worthy of the finest restaurants, a particularly successful beef fillet Rossini-style, and to finish, an equally masterful chocolate hazelnut caramel dessert. The dishes were accompanied by excellent mashed potatoes and small vegetables. The mountain setting is warm and elegant. As the dining room has limited seating, it is essential to plan ahead and book at least a week in advance. Free parking is easily accessible right next door, along the road. If we lived in the area, we would return without hesitation. A truly wonderful place to recommend without reservation.

15/09/2026: Upon our arrival Sunday evening in Mont Dore, we discovered this establishment with its refined atmosphere and attentive staff. For our meal, we opted for the signature dish, Stuffed Cabbage. It was very tasty, as was the apple and cinnamon dessert. We highly recommend this establishment and will definitely return before our departure. Thank you to the team. Véronique and Jean-Christophe

07/09/2026: I have rarely had the pleasure of enjoying such a wonderful, delicious meal. The leg of lamb was tender, incredibly flavorful, and the side dishes were superb. The service was exemplary, and the price was very reasonable (€65 for two people).

16/10/2026: A culinary adventure full of twists and turns (and disappointment) By 8 p.m., the tone was set: "Hurry up and order, the kitchen's about to close!" So we raced against the clock to have the privilege of tasting: The starter: Foie gras straight out of a cheap can, accompanied by its valiant half-slice of toasted white bread. The main course: A piece of Salers beef whose cooking was a gamble (spoiler alert: we lost), accompanied by frozen fries and a salad served in its "raw" version (translation: zero dressing). The dessert: The chef having decided to mentally and physically resign halfway through service, the poor waiter was left to plate it. The result: a dry and tasteless cake, and profiteroles drier than a bone. On the drinks front, the Baltika beer shrank during cooking: ordered in a 74cl bottle, served in a 50cl one... the magic of physics! A huge thank you nonetheless to the incredibly kind waiter, who had to manage this disaster all by himself while the kitchen had already packed up and left at 8:30 pm.

15/09/2026: Beautiful location at the foot of the Puy de Sancy. Stunning unobstructed view directly from the terrace. Great prices: paid €17 for a coffee, Aperol Spritz, and Nutella crêpe. Friendly service. Clean toilets.

14/09/2026: A great place to eat at the foot of the Sancy mountain; the view from the terrace is magnificent. The truffade was delicious, and the service was impeccable.
