What a great experience from the meal to the reception, everything was sublime. We were really seduced by the originality of the dishes. And also by their presentation in blown glass or very beautiful plates. Also presented by the chef….. very nice discovery of this place.

En arrivant dans cet établissement vous ressentez tout d'abord une ambiance zen délicate dans un cadre soigné et cocooning Ensuite le personnel est vraiment très professionnel à l'écoute tout en restant discret quant au sommelier...un grand bravo pour ces conseils et sa culture tout en étant également très à l'écoute Je n'oublierai évidemment ce couple à la tête de cette pépite qui nous a régalé très disponible également du début jusqu'à la fin de ce dîner qui restera dans nos mémoires MERCI NOUS REVIENDRONS

What can I say except that we had a superb evening both through the place decorated with great warmth and sweetness and through the welcome from a very warm, involved and attentive team and of course, Madame Fanny Rey welcomed us personally as warmly as discreetly. The waltz of dishes, each more tasty, curious, more indulgent than the last, brought us what we had come to look for when we opened the door of the inn: wow!! A special mention also for the pastry chef as his boldness in his creations is daring. As for the sommelier, his sensitivity and his ability to listen make him an excellent person in the exercise of his function. THANKS! It is obvious that we will come back.

We entered it out of curiosity. Attracted by the beauty of the place. We stayed for a cocktail. The kindness and welcome of Jonathan and Fanny touched us so much (knowing that they are masters in their field). Next stop, the gourmet restaurant and the hotel.

You go here for the food, but it’s so much more than that. The service is superb, the setting very romantic, with very well-spaced tables. We opted for the €200 menu without the wine pairing, and it was more than enough food. We had a bottle of Crozes-Hermitage (2019) that wasn’t overpowering and complemented our dishes. We loved almost everything, but standouts were the tomato green zebra, the instant green chickpea amuse bouche and the John Dory, as well as the goat cheese with sour fig buds and the desserts. No one should be shocked at the price here if they’re foodies, as inventive cuisine is not cheap. If you are you shouldn’t come. Meeting Johnathan upon leaving was a bonus.

29/08/2024: What a great and delicious experience! We first visited Xavier at Xa in 1990, then again in 1994 on our honeymoon. We were already fascinated by this beautiful restaurant with a retro look, the personal welcome from Xavier and the cooking skills of his wife Martine. Over 30 years later we visited the Xa again on the occasion of our 30th wedding anniversary on a trip to Provence. Unfortunately we learned that Xavier had passed away. However, the restaurant has remained unchanged and Martine is still conjuring up her very tasty menus in the kitchen! We were warmly welcomed and served by Melanie, Xavier and Martine's daughter. A wonderful, unforgettable evening, with excellent food and wine, in the middle of St-Rémy, with many memories. Merci Martine and Melanie, we'll be back!
30/07/2024: Un mot ? DÉLICIEUX ! C’est une cuisine de grand talent tout simplement délicieux ! Un accueil simple et vraiment sympathique, pas de gentillesse étudiée non ! De la sincérité ! De l’accueil à l’assiette on est dans un endroit d’exception. Allez y !

31/10/2024: Very nice evening in a warm setting. The dishes are delicious and refined.
09/10/2024: Very friendly service, excellent lunch menu. At least it deserves a mention in the Michelin Guide. We were definitely very pleasantly surprised and would be happy to recommend the restaurant.
