Le Bistrot Decouverte sur Saint-Remy-De-Provence

We popped in for lunch on Thursday, 8 October, 2026 because we needed lunch and a very light rain was starting. Boy, were we in the right place! We sat in the cozy, comfortable, and attractive glassed-in "terrace". We both ordered the daily lunch special: a salad with salmon, house-made foccacia, whipped goat cheese, and arugula; roast chicken with sautéed shivered vegetables; and chocolate mousse. I had to restraints myself repeating the same word over and over while typing that menu summary; the word is "DELICIOUS". Perfectly prepared would be another worthy phrase. The service was classic low-key, low-pressure French. We were delighted to dine slowly over an hour and a hslf (or more), until the dun came out. The total cost with one glass of red wine and a liter of San Pelligrino was 70.90 EUR. We will definitely go back. Maybe to try dinner.

A truly surprising experience last night! We ate there for my girlfriend's birthday and made a wonderful discovery. The staff were attentive, with a great sense of humor, generous, and very helpful. The cuisine was exceptional, all homemade, including an incredible foie gras pâté en croûte and a perfectly cooked rare beef fillet. The sauces accompanying the dishes were extraordinarily well-made. Having worked in the restaurant industry myself, I think this place is perfect for a romantic dinner or a family meal. Especially since we met a lovely couple at a nearby table who kindly offered us a bottle of red wine for my partner's birthday. Food was great! Service was a little questionable but just fine!

A truly wonderful discovery. A very friendly atmosphere, excellent tasting menus full of originality, flavor, and freshness, the panisse fries were to die for! We really had a wonderful time. A small terrace, the real Provence. Thank you, thank you so much for everything. ♥️♥️♥️♥️

A great little bistro, simple and friendly! The welcome is warm, the dishes are good and generous, with excellent value for money. A pleasant and unpretentious atmosphere, exactly as we like it. I recommend it 👍
