We came as a group of seven this Sunday without a reservation. We received a very warm welcome with big smiles. Despite the time (3:30 pm), we were able to order huge and delicious charcuterie boards and ice cream! We'll be back very soon!

I was alone and arrived very early. The welcome was excellent, the service quick and efficient, provided by a friendly and efficient all-female team. The food was delicious and the prices very reasonable! A delightful experience! See you soon!

A great place to stop for a break during your tour. Friendly service, a shady spot on the terrace, and delicious homemade cakes. You should check beforehand if they offer hot meals.

At the end of June, we came for lunch (as a group). The 5/5 rating is solely for the warm welcome we received from the waitress, who was very responsive, accommodating, and friendly! The food was also excellent. However, the telephone service was the complete opposite. Even when trying to organize our meal, the person I spoke to on the phone was not helpful at all! Ten days later, I called one morning to make a reservation for the following day. She told me they were fully booked and hung up on me. I had to call back to ask if we could come at 1:30 pm. I found this service very disappointing. The person was extremely stressed. What a shame.

After a great mountain bike ride with my son, we enjoyed an excellent Caesar salad. It's a very pleasant place and the staff are very friendly. I highly recommend it.

26/06/2026: We returned to this farm inn for Father's Day, after a family hike. What a pleasure it was to rediscover this place 11 years after our first visit! Despite the restaurant being full that day, the service was exemplary: a smiling, dynamic, and very friendly team who knew how to handle the crowds professionally. As for the food, we thoroughly enjoyed it. The menus (game, duck, Alsatian dishes) are generous, delicious, and offered at very reasonable prices. A must-visit in the area that we highly recommend.
04/06/2026: Local, regional dishes at fair prices. Generous portions; we had wild boar and a set menu with cheese and sampler cheese. The service was very friendly, with parking on site and a resident dog on the terrace. An ideal stopover for day trips. Highly recommended, would gladly return.

03/06/2026: First experience at this Hohwald restaurant for a family lunch. We were warmly welcomed by smiling and attentive staff. The overall atmosphere was cozy and pleasant. The dishes were beautifully presented, tasty, and clearly prepared with care. Unfortunately, one detail significantly marred this otherwise positive impression. The small salad accompanying the fried food was particularly meager, and any additional portion was charged at €2.50. For a bill of €180 for four people, charging this extra for a few leaves of salad feels stingy and difficult to understand. It's a shame, because up until that point, everything was going very well. This small, inconsistent gesture ultimately overshadowed the rest of the experience. For this reason, despite the aforementioned positive aspects, I don't plan to return.
10/05/2026: We had booked a surprise getaway for my husband, and from the very first phone call, the welcome made all the difference. Our expectations were met, with a most welcoming reception.
