We received a warm welcome. The servers and manager were friendly.
We were disappointed with the meat served, especially the chuck steak, which was tough and inedible.
In short, it would be a good idea to update the menu a bit if we were to come back more often.

A Sunday lunch on the banks of the Loire at the Restaurant de l'Ecluse... a true delight. The meal was simply delicious. The staff was very welcoming, and the service was top-notch! A pleasant setting. A restaurant I recommend during your visit to Cher. See you soon.
On this September 1, 2025, while passing through Fourchambault, we dined at the inn as usual. Everything was PERFECT.

A wonderful place, two of us came on August 16, 2025. The place is nice, the servers are all very pleasant, and most importantly, the food is excellent, with perfect service between each course.

This Loire restaurant offers a superb view of the Loire to start, which is soothing. The welcome is warm and very professional, which is pleasant.
The premises are well-appointed and clean.
The menu consists of two main set menus, and the wine and other drinks list is extensive, allowing for a perfect match.
The dishes are well-presented and very tasty.
There's no need to provide salt and pepper on the table.
I recommend it without hesitation.
