Auberge de L'Ecluse sur Cours-Les-Barres

A dinner in July 2026, on the evening of the France-Morocco quarter-final match. On the terrace, at 9:45 PM, the waiter asked all the customers to pay the bill for the following reason: CLOSING AT 10:00 PM. We had barely left when the staff got into their vehicles, probably in a great hurry to go watch the match. 🤔 Their attitude towards customers was very cavalier and not at all customer-friendly.

Another great find on our holiday road trip. The menus were excellent. We enjoyed the setting and the service, although we would have preferred the courses to be spaced further apart. The staff were very pleasant and competent. Worth discovering.

A superb, peaceful, and verdant terrace. The dishes are delicious and beautifully presented. A good selection of wines. The service is excellent, with smiles and professionalism. I highly recommend this lovely inn.

Family meal for a birthday. There were 13 of us (not even a little bit scared!). Beforehand, we received excellent advice and support from the owner in preparing the meal (choice of dishes and wines, placement of the large round table, and a backup plan). We enjoyed a lovely shaded terrace in a pleasant setting. The service was impeccable; the waiters were smiling, friendly, attentive, and very professional, anticipating our needs for bread and water (freshly chilled, as it was very hot). The flow of the courses was perfect. Everyone enjoyed the different dishes, from the appetizers to the desserts. High-quality cuisine, fresh ingredients—congratulations to the chef! Excellent value for money. We had a wonderful time and highly recommend this establishment.

We came to eat at this restaurant thanks to a gift certificate we received, and we were absolutely not disappointed! The staff is friendly, welcoming, and warm. The setting is calm, elegant, and very pleasant. The dishes are delicious and beautifully presented, and you can tell that a real effort has been made in the flavor combinations, with a lovely touch of originality and creativity. A wonderful discovery that we wholeheartedly recommend. We will definitely be back!

Excellent welcome, attentive staff Original and refined cuisine

This restaurant has been around for many years, but it could use a refresh, especially the outdated carpet! The €32 set menu is decent, but nothing special. Overall, the food could be more refined. The amuse-bouches, meanwhile, are unattractive, poorly presented, and tasteless. They would be better off not serving anything at all than offering customers such "things"! This restaurant has lost the prestige it enjoyed in its "Riera" days.

We entered a very beautiful, elegant dining room and received a warm welcome. The meal was excellent and plentiful, with friendly and impeccable service.
