We are regular customers of the Auberge de l’Épine and are always very satisfied.
This time we came to celebrate a family birthday.
We had requested a more relaxed service so we could take our time and fully enjoy this moment together. Our request was perfectly respected.
The food was excellent and the service, as always, very friendly and professional.
We will gladly return!

A truly excellent restaurant: refined cuisine, from appetizer to dessert everything is superb and generous. The service is impeccable, the staff are smiling, attentive, and welcoming. We've been twice, and we'll definitely be back! 👌🫶

Family dinner, we were particularly disappointed, especially since we've been regulars at this establishment for decades. The welcome and service were unpleasant. The food, usually excellent, this time had the same side dish for every course (meat or fish), pre-sliced cheeses served on plates, and the rolls were frozen. For a birthday, they put a candle on your dessert and that was it! We weren't offered coffee, but the bill was already prepared, so we were told to "hurry up and leave!" We should point out that these are €47 set menus, and the bill came to nearly €250. Needless to say, we won't be returning, which is a real shame.

We had a good meal. However, check your bill carefully because we were charged 55 euros for a glass of wine... that's expensive on the bill and nobody noticed.

We had dinner at the Auberge de l'Épine, there were four of us, we ordered the bistro menu, we all ate very well at the round table which is very convivial, the starter, the main courses and the desserts were well served and tasty, the service was attentive to the customer, keep up the good work!

Don't let the slightly dated exterior fool you; this restaurant is fantastic! The interior is beautifully laid out, and you're not crammed in next to your neighbors, which is great for conversations.
The value for money is excellent: it's rare to find such a varied and generous menu for under €50. The dishes were delicious, and the dessert selection concept is very original!
Thank you to the two waitresses and the waiter who gave us such a warm welcome. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Wonderbox **** menu for two...
Sparkling kir, salmon gravlax, lemon-crusted sea bream fillet, two scoops of ice cream, coffee. A wonderful romantic meal.
We come back regularly and it's always excellent. Charming staff.
