A lovely inn; we had a wonderful evening enjoying an excellent tasting menu featuring frog legs, chicken in cream sauce, and to finish, an extraordinary profiterole. We'll definitely be back!

Passing through the area, we booked a table in the morning for dinner that evening. The atmosphere is very welcoming, the staff pleasant, and the food excellent. We were particularly keen to try the frog legs, and they were delicious. We highly recommend it.

Very good restaurant (20/12/25). I don't know if the pistachio cake is homemade (I have my doubts), but in any case, it's truly excellent. 4 stars for the food because I was a little disappointed by the very simple starter (for a €41 menu).

Simply exceptional! As I get older, it becomes increasingly rare to be surprised at a restaurant! This was certainly the case during my meal at the Auberge de Montessuy; the pink venison steak was simply fantastic and quite unusual! The rest of the meal included an excellent creamy soup and a perfect wine pairing with a red wine from Bugey! My sincere congratulations!

We discovered this place with the new owners and weren't disappointed. We had a wonderful meal; the portions were refined and generous. The wine was excellent too. Everything was perfect.

A very warm welcome, excellent cuisine, and top-quality ingredients.
On the downside, we were very cold despite the staff's efforts.
Prices are high compared to other fine dining establishments; it's a shame to have to pay extra on menus costing over €40 for foie gras, frogs' legs, or venison.
The service was very slow; our meal took four hours... A very good culinary experience overall, but I might not return.
