01/04/2026: Excellent restaurant as always; we've dined at L'Auberge de Montessuy several times. We're always very pleased with the setting, the welcome, the service, and the food. Guests are pampered, and the staff is very friendly. We highly recommend it.
30/03/2026: It's good overall, apart from the cold, because eating in the cold is hardly pleasant, and now I have to take care of myself for a cold and the flu.

23/04/2026: Fantastic pizzeria! The pizzas are delicious, made with quality ingredients and a perfectly crafted dough. The desserts are also excellent. All this at a great price. Warm welcome and top-notch service, I highly recommend it!

29/03/2026: Today, during a short stop in Châtillon-sur-Chalaronne, we stopped to eat at this small restaurant. We received a very warm welcome, the lasagne was excellent, and the mini dessert was a very nice idea.

13/12/2025: Ugur restaurant offers kebabs and generously filled platters at reasonable prices.
I enjoyed my meal there many times before finally summoning up the courage to write this review.

26/03/2026: The restaurant is well located on the market square, making it a pleasant place for lunch. However, the menu selection is quite limited, especially if you don't want a hamburger. The biggest drawback is the service: we waited over 45 minutes before being served... we didn't even have time for dessert and coffee! This makes the place unsuitable for a quick lunch break.
21/03/2026: Incredible! Delicious food, very reasonable prices, and a special mention for the burger and the chestnut fondant 😍. The service was top-notch: the team welcomed us despite our late arrival with remarkable kindness and professionalism. I highly recommend it!

31/08/2024: Arrived at the restaurant at 12:15 p.m. We had the honor of seeing a waitress at 12:45 p.m. who had just come to take our drink order!!!! 30 minutes of waiting just to drink!!!! This one explains to us that another waitress will come to take the order but she doesn't know when???? But what is certain is that it was not the result!!!!!
What an organization!!!! A disaster!!! We therefore left by the lack of professionalism of this establishment and other customers did the same...
24/08/2024: Catastrophic Saturday lunchtime. Arriving at 11:30 a.m. for a drink, we were offered a table to eat.
12:30 no order taken, no drinks. We ask what their white wine is, staff only know how to answer “I’m coming”. 10 minutes later still nothing, we unfortunately left without having eaten.
Too bad for a market day.

The meal was okay, but nothing special.
Definitely, don't order the tiramisu, as it's a very dry biscuit that hasn't been dipped in Marsala coffee. It's disappointing.
08/09/2025: Beautiful hotel with a lovely garden and pool. Parking is available within their gate. However, breakfast is served at their other location, a 5-minute walk away. A good breakfast with a wide selection costs €18. It's located in the village center, very central.

27/07/2024: A correct choice of cheeses, all very good for what we chose, some pleasant nuggets, but Madam Manager, after consultation, you are professional but despite some attempts to relax the atmosphere, not very smiling (and I moderate the comments of my friend who was with his daughter). A vague feeling that we were disturbing you.
This is the only downside, shared by other customers, when reading the other reviews.
