02/10/2026: Thai restaurant, the taste of the dishes is average and the service is not very good. The staff are busy and unable to take care of customers, resulting in poor service quality.

Auberge De Montessuy
Chatillon-Sur-Chalaronne
05/10/2026: A very warm welcome and excellent food. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal. We had a wonderful evening, and the staff were impeccable, especially the waitress who looked after our table. We wish you all the best.
03/10/2026: Excellent cuisine with delicate and perfectly balanced flavors, blending tradition and originality. Today I had a delicious fillet of sea bream with sardine cream. Brilliant and original. My wife had the frogs' legs...more traditional, but she thoroughly enjoyed it. Amuse-bouches and a side salad with truffle oil. Top-notch!

24/09/2026: The pizzas are incredible, and some are quite original. I love them; the ingredients are high quality, and the pizza dough is excellent.
All this for €8 on Wednesdays… what more can I say?
21/09/2026: Hello,

Instant Pizza
Chatillon-Sur-Chalaronne
08/09/2026: I was drawn to this restaurant's very diverse menu. After a more than satisfactory experience, I left with hot pizzas, served on time, frog legs in my pizza, and a big smile on my face!
I highly recommend this pizzeria!
06/08/2026: Excellent pizza, no complaints, and on top of that, the service is fast 🙏

La Gourmandine
Chatillon-Sur-Chalaronne
02/10/2026: We had lunch at this restaurant based on Google reviews. We ordered a charcuterie platter with salad/crudités, which included one slice of cooked ham cut into three pieces, three thin slices of sausage, one slice of cured ham cut into three pieces, three gherkins, one lettuce leaf, two slices of daikon radish, and five kernels of corn, all for €16.60. Judge for yourselves...
15/09/2026: A great restaurant! Beautiful setting and excellent food!

Le Comptoir des Halles
Chatillon-Sur-Chalaronne
17/08/2026: We were treated like royalty, even though we were just passing through. The staff were very attentive, the burgers were generously filled, and the Alpine ice cream was the best! A must-visit address in a magnificent setting!
04/08/2026: The servers were very welcoming and friendly; I was delighted to have eaten there twice during my week-long holiday. I thoroughly enjoyed my meal and will gladly return for my next vacation. Thank you to the whole team! ☺️

Ugur
Chatillon-Sur-Chalaronne
14/12/2025: Excellent kebab, a great place! It's always a treat. The best kebabs around are here.
13/12/2025: Ugur restaurant offers kebabs and generously filled platters at reasonable prices.
I enjoyed my meal there many times before finally summoning up the courage to write this review.
I thank the staff, who are very friendly. Until next time.

Galettes et beurre salé
Chatillon-Sur-Chalaronne
20/09/2026: Great jazz club (vocal jam session that night)! I got a seat quickly on a Saturday night. Price: €8 extra on the first drink.
20/09/2026: we went to see a concert with musicians from London Soul R&B and jazz soit disant, and it was so disappointing, all the sound of all songs were the same, and they played like Lounge music, not real sound, no melody, always the same rhythm, very strange to announce such a great performance with some known names..... Too hot and we had asked 4 times for water ......bad service.

Clos de la Tour
Chatillon-Sur-Chalaronne
11/09/2025: We only had lunch at the restaurant, not staying at the hotel.
The meal was okay, but nothing special.
Definitely, don't order the tiramisu, as it's a very dry biscuit that hasn't been dipped in Marsala coffee. It's disappointing.
08/09/2025: Beautiful hotel with a lovely garden and pool. Parking is available within their gate. However, breakfast is served at their other location, a 5-minute walk away. A good breakfast with a wide selection costs €18. It's located in the village center, very central.

La Papillothèque des Fromages
Chatillon-Sur-Chalaronne
27/07/2024: A correct choice of cheeses, all very good for what we chose, some pleasant nuggets, but Madam Manager, after consultation, you are professional but despite some attempts to relax the atmosphere, not very smiling (and I moderate the comments of my friend who was with his daughter). A vague feeling that we were disturbing you.
This is the only downside, shared by other customers, when reading the other reviews.
Best wishes.
