The setting is very nice and the food is good, but I was disappointed by the waiters who weren't very friendly.

We booked the entire restaurant for 55 people for our wedding anniversary. We chose the full package with aperitifs and hors d'oeuvres served buffet-style. It was great because the guests had time to chat. Then came the main course, served at the table: a real free-range guinea fowl accompanied by vegetables and a gratin dauphinois, all served on warm plates with unlimited wine (Côtes du Rhône, rosé, and white). Everyone thoroughly enjoyed it, from the youngest (10 years old, out of a total of 21) to the oldest (around 60). Afterwards, there was fromage blanc with cream or Saint-Marcellin cheese (the real deal). And finally, dessert: the "Old Married Couple's Cakes," divided into two flavors: several perfect strawberry cakes and chocolate cakes. We had brought our own champagne (corkage fee = €6). We are practically all epicureans who appreciate good food, but without any fuss or modern cuisine that's too elitist for us. So we were delighted, as both quality and quantity were excellent. I forgot to mention that we were all seated under the plane trees outside and didn't suffer from the heat despite the 32-degree temperature, thanks to a gentle breeze. Fresh air. I never leave reviews, so this is a first, but I'm doing it sincerely and with pleasure because this restaurant nestled in Neyron le Haut deserves to be thanked and congratulated. The interior is understated and comfortable, suitable for both a family meal and a business lunch. MISCELLANEOUS The free private parking is a real plus and makes accessing the establishment easy. Reservations are recommended, especially on Saturday evenings. Strengths Well-executed traditional cuisine, quality ingredients, and a particularly pleasant, peaceful setting. Weaknesses The menu, quite classic, doesn't change much and may seem repetitive to regular customers. Suggestions for improvement Introducing seasonal specials or limited-time dishes more regularly would surprise loyal customers while maintaining the establishment's identity. Overall, this is a place I readily recommend for those looking for quality traditional cuisine in a peaceful environment. I will gladly return.
