Nice restaurant, nice welcome We only tasted local specialties which were perfect, but other dishes more Aveyron than Savoyard are offered. Very nice decor too

A very well placed place, perfect setting for a drink after a hike. Very attractive price for the snack. On the other hand, the pancakes and waffles are not great in terms of taste/consistency.

Déjeuner un midi au calme avec une tarte au beaufort délicieuse et copieuse l'assiette " planche du grand bec " était copieuse et variée une bonne halte en montant au lac des vaches ou au refuge de la vanoise

Restaurant Les Barmettes

09/09/2024: Pretty refuge, located at the top of the chairlift. A beautiful terrace with a view of the valley. Fairly large rooms with single bunk beds. A drying room. Only downside: only one shower and one sink for the entire gîte 😓
29/08/2024: More than a refuge it is a hotel. Very good value for money

01/09/2024: For snacks it's amazing, some specialties worthy of a great restaurant. At the top of the cable car with a view of the Vanoise, a very good atmosphere and a warm welcome. Please note, this is a mountain restaurant and you must buy a bottle of water (no drinking water supply). In addition to marmots 20m away, a play area for children. The mountain begins there...
09/08/2024: In summer, good food, great service, courteous and there are games for children outside with a beautiful plain
