06/05/2026: We only had two beers, but the welcome and service were excellent, and I think it was the best view from a restroom I've ever seen.
One thing is for sure: we'll be back to eat there.
And we have.
We ate there this winter in February and have no regrets. It was very good and plentiful, and the service was friendly despite the crowd. We'll definitely go back.

The service is super friendly; I come back every year to eat there and go skiing or hiking.
I didn't stay overnight.

19/08/2026: A very pleasant place for a drink, whatever the time of day. The food was greasy (diots in a cream and butter sauce, crozets with lots of cream and melted cheese on the side). After a long hike, it was hard to digest. We'll look at the menu more carefully next time.

Refuge du Roc de la Peche

03/04/2026: I was quite cautious when booking the refuge because various reviews had been mixed.
But it turns out the owner has changed, and the quality and hospitality are back! We had absolutely no complaints, quite the opposite!
Just one thing to keep in mind: it's not a typical "CAF" (French Alpine Club) refuge, but rather a hostel-style refuge. So you pay more, but the quality is also superior (showers, pool table, rooms, etc.).
29/03/2026: We stayed at the Refuge du Roc with a group of 12 plus 2 guides for a star-shaped ski touring trip. The refuge was a perfect base camp! The climb from Pralognan is a good warm-up but quite accessible to all levels of skiers. The refuge is perfectly equipped, notably with a games room (pool table, darts, video projector), a sauna, and a Nordic bath, which make après-ski very enjoyable! The cook was super friendly, the service impeccable, and the meals delicious.

The burgers are excellent, expertly cooked, with fresh fries and delicious buns. A very good restaurant.

21/08/2026: The beds are very small, three people in the same bed! Not easy to go to the toilet at night. The comfort and food are below that of other refuges in the Vanoise, despite road access: a real shame.
20/08/2026: Fellow hikers, run away!!!
This shouldn't even be called a refuge: no effort whatsoever to welcome guests and absolutely no hospitality. Could anything be more unfriendly than Repoju?
Admittedly, we arrived at service time, but the weather was terrible and thunderstorms were threatening. We were given to understand that we had to wait until service was over to be shown to our accommodation. After an hour and a half of waiting, even in the rain, we had to go back and ask them again to actually show us where we were staying. The response was extremely rude, pointing at our tent. Ten seconds would have been enough to get us settled in when we arrived.
Don't welcome hikers if you don't want to.
The breakfast was laughable: two slices of bread, a tiny bit of butter... Of the ten refuges we visited, yours is the most accessible (there's a road!) but also the worst.
Finally, why insist on being paid in cash when you take the card?

22/02/2024: Si vous raffolez de plat savoyard ne choisissez pas ce restaurant. Je m’attendais à me régaler avec une tartiflette mais quelle déception : pommes de terre à l’eau couvertes de crème avec une tonne d’oignons coupés grossièrement car surgelés, des lardons pas cuits et 2 petits morceaux de reblochon… Pareil pour la croziflette. Et la salade qui accompagne de la bonne salade en sachet !
Bref en étant en Savoie on s’attend à beaucoup mieux
20/02/2024: Nous y sommes allés un soir la propreté se la vaisselles laisse à désirés nous avons pris une raclettes heureusement pas pirate carte service était sale il restait même du fromage collé sur les coupelles une fois avoir mangé la charcuterie lanplanche en bois était noir une salade de mâche non nettoyé.franchement très déçu. De plus des serveuse qui ce plaignent des clients étrangers.
