Don't hesitate to cross the bridge over the Loire to eat in this establishment which is worth the detour from every point of view: welcome, service, setting, authentic cuisine, all this for excellent value for money.

Nice little restaurant...cozy atmosphere in the room with a beautiful earthenware exhibition...the dishes are good and well presented...the service is attentive with a slight English accent from the owner...if we come back there, we will come back...

Beautiful presentation of the dishes, certainly, but a lack of work compared to the cost of the service. A pint of Guinness offered on tap but served in a can. A dessert not homemade.

17/08/2025: A lounge atmosphere with a beautiful view of the Loire River and the town of Gien. A relaxing, sunny moment; the welcome and the cuisine exude Italian flavors, starting with the Americano and the Negroni. White napkins and tablecloths, an outdoor table just 50 meters from the Loire. We sometimes travel 800 km for a crowded beach bar! The menu is simple and varied, featuring fresh, high-quality ingredients, as seen in the two large salads we shared. It's a lovely place to meet up and escape for an evening.
06/08/2025: Best tiramisu I've ever had. The beers are also good and reasonably priced.
