Auberge des Montauds sur Villard-De-Lans

We had a wonderful time at Auberge des Montaud. We came for lunch with friends this Sunday and everything went perfectly. The welcome was warm, the atmosphere calm and pleasant, with a lovely fireplace. The dishes were all delicious; we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Absolutely delicious! We highly recommend it!

We had a lovely stay at this inn, located just outside Villard, in a peaceful setting. The welcome was very warm. The room was comfortable and the breakfast was generous. Dinner was very enjoyable by the fire, and the homemade dishes were absolutely delicious. A wonderful experience that we'd love to repeat!

We had a wonderful weekend at the Auberge des Montauds. The hotel is a bit far from the town center and shops: this isn't a problem for a short stay, but it's something to keep in mind for a longer one, as you'll need a car to get to the resort. Breakfast opens at 8:00 a.m.; with children enrolled in ski lessons, you need to be quite punctual. Fortunately, we were able to start a little early both mornings, which we really appreciated. The evening meals are very generous and, above all, excellent! The manager is also very friendly. The only slight drawback was the welcome we received upon arrival: the person who greeted us seemed rather reserved, and we felt like we were bothering her, which surprised us a bit. Even our children noticed ("the lady looks sad"). Perhaps it was related to the end of the season? This feeling persisted throughout the rest of the weekend. Conversely, her colleague (her daughter, I believe) was warm and very attentive. Overall, we have very fond memories of our stay. Thank you for your hospitality and best of luck to the entire team. A little expensive for what it is but it's okay

One night in this hotel with breakfast and dinner included. As a frequent hotel guest, I have nothing but praise for everything. A big plus for the food in terms of quality. Keep up the good work.

We only stayed one night, but this short stay allowed us to enjoy the authentic charm of your inn. We would gladly return for a few days.

Fantastic experience at the Auberge des Montauds! We stayed in the family room, which was perfect for a family of four. We also really enjoyed the evening meal with the half-board option. The parking lot was cleared of snow in the morning, but given the location, you should be prepared with appropriate equipment depending on the forecast (winter tires, snow socks, etc.). It must be a lovely experience in the summer too. We'll be back! 🤗

Excellent stay thanks to the entire Montauds team. A warm, friendly, and ideally located place. The hosts are very welcoming. Breakfast and meals are excellent, essential for hitting the slopes. We'll be back in the summer!
