The host is a good chef and a excellent gardener, the dinner was perfect. If he puts in the same effort he pours into his food and vegetable garden into the rest of the hotel it will be a legendary place! And they will both be very busy! Merci.

We spent a weekend at La Ferme du Bois Barbu. The location and setting are exceptional, and the welcome was warm and friendly. Roxanne was always available to answer our questions and meet our needs. The rooms were lovely, and the chef, Nicolas, prepared a delicious meal with great generosity. A truly wonderful and authentic weekend, beautifully organized! I highly recommend it. Dominique

We went to see the Vercors en Lumières (Vercors in Lights) and chose to spend the night and have dinner at La Ferme du Bois Barbu. The welcome was fantastic—simple, friendly, and welcoming. The chef created a superb, customized dinner menu for us; we thoroughly enjoyed it. The room was very nice, clean, and comfortable. The breakfast was delicious and generous, featuring homemade products. Perfect for starting the day. We highly recommend this establishment. Thank you for the directions for the Rocher du Serpent (Serpent Rock) hike.

What a wonderful discovery! We came as a family (about twenty people), and the staff were very helpful and available! The food was simply delicious, and the rooms were very clean. We'll be back! ☺️

Fantastic! A quiet hotel, superbly located, and above all, an incredibly warm welcome. The hosts were pleasant, smiling, and attentive. We came for one night with our children. We were surprised to find ourselves in a larger room than we had booked, as it was available, so the hosts thought we'd be more comfortable there 😊. Breakfast was absolutely delicious, with high-quality products served just the way we like them... simply wonderful. One thing is for sure: we've found our little haven if we ever return to the area. It's so rare to find such lovely hosts. Thank you so much for making our stay truly special. Have a wonderful holiday! Get some rest. Taking such good care of people takes a lot of energy.

We had a wonderful family weekend at La Ferme de Bois Barbu. The owners are very welcoming and do everything they can to make you feel comfortable. The location is ideal, close to the ski slopes and hiking trails. The meals were hearty and satisfying. Thank you for your kindness and warm welcome.

If you're looking for an authentic, welcoming, mountain retreat with real character, come to La Ferme du Bois Barbu! That character is the owners, Nicolas and Roxanne, who go above and beyond to ensure your stay is as pleasant and delicious as possible. Enjoy local food and drinks by the fireplace in a friendly atmosphere, without breaking the bank... The rooms are comfortable, and a true mountain ambiance is guaranteed! We came as a family for a few days in winter, and we'll be back this summer to sample the garden vegetables!

La Bergerie

24/08/2026: A lovely evening at La Bergerie restaurant! The menu featured local and Drôme specialties. The Tartibleu dish exceeded all our expectations! The staff were very welcoming, and the service was pleasant and efficient. The decor was beautiful, with a covered back terrace, so we weren't cold at all in the evening. Reservations are essential.
23/08/2026: Quite disappointed... I came about ten years ago and it was much better then. The welcome was very mediocre; we had a reservation and were seated five of us at a table meant for four. The tables on the terrace are incredibly close together; we could have eaten from our neighbors' plates, no exaggeration. Safety was completely lacking (an emergency exit has a maximum capacity of 50 people, and we were more than that). The person who seated us didn't explain the menus, while the other servers were doing so for other tables. The menu is far too extensive; it took me a while to figure it out. In the end, the ingredients were decent, but the cooking was nothing exceptional, making for an expensive large salad. Zero value for money. In short, we won't be back.
