We regularly stop at the Auberge during our trips between the Île-de-France and Alsace regions.
We're never disappointed; the food is excellent, made with good, fresh ingredients, and the service is always welcoming. We highly recommend it.

We stopped by out of curiosity and it was a great find!
The staff is incredibly friendly, the flames are amazing, and the food is delicious too.
Our 3-year-old son's meal was brought out at the same time as the aperitif, which was super convenient at our request. 👍

Passing through Laxou, I spotted this roadside inn. Very hungry, we stopped. The food was excellent, fresh, and plentiful, with fantastic service. The price was reasonable considering the quantity. Living 400 km from the inn, it's a shame I can't return in the immediate future, but I'll be back as soon as possible. A very good time spent in Laxou.

The Auberge in Laxou has the advantage of being well-located and easily accessible. The menu is varied and the food is of good quality—on these points, the establishment delivers on its promises.
However, the service gives an impression of rigidity that clashes with what one expects from a warm welcome. The wait is noticeable, and a surprising rule applies: it is strictly forbidden to pay directly at the register. You therefore have to ask a waiter several times to get the bill, which unnecessarily lengthens the end of the meal.
Overall, it's a decent establishment, but one that would benefit from streamlining its procedures to offer a smoother and more pleasant customer experience.
