Auberge Des Segneurs sur Vence

Our family of six (2 adults and four hungry teenage boys) had a fantastic meal at Auberge. The place is a Vence institution having been run by the same family for more than 100 years. But they are not resting on their laurels - this was a fantastic meal, the best we had over the course of our week in Vence. The starters were so fresh - a real taste of summer. The mains were also excellent - saddle of veal was a standout but the steak and fish suggestion (bream) were great too. Exceptional value for money. Three generations of servers including Maman who was acquainted with Marc Chagall back in the day. I couldn’t recommend this inn highly enough!

A very good restaurant in Vence. You can also enjoy outdoor seating. Friendly and attentive service, and good food.

A lovely evening in the company of the hostesses, whose hospitality is truly second nature... And the dishes are delicious... a special dedication to the asparagus crème brûlée. See you soon!

The welcome is as good as the cuisine. You can go there with your eyes closed.

Very good restaurant... I recommend it... a very nice, quiet dinner in the wonderful town of Vence.

restaurant Saturday menu €28: excellent quality-quantity-presentation-price ratio including complimentary starters and bread with salted butter. It would only be missing to be perfect cloth napkins (not tablecloths, which would not show the wooden tables; they have very correct savings). Friendly and very attentive service. Very pleasant and special atmosphere full of antique furniture and details, also in the services (you have to go down stairs). Located at the very entrance of the old town.

Very beautiful setting, great welcome, meal to match, excellent appetizer, followed by endive tartare, sea bream and small vegetables, very delicate seasoning, accompaniment 1 glass of white wine and red fruit panacotta😋😉❤️ Run there?

My opinion only concerns the restaurant. Not only is the welcome perfect but the value for money is even better. Obviously, we will come back with great pleasure.

A family owned restaurant for generations with a serious attention to details in all matters concerning the well-being of the customers. Very very kind and helpful people. One of the coziest restaurants I've ever visited. Feels like you're entering into some kind of ancient brotherhood; the furniture, lighting and decor tells of history. The meats are grilled with three different types of wood which gives a unique and delicious taste. I'll recommend the grilled lamb chops with a layer of a secret ingredient on top - the combined taste is just amazing. It's worth a longer travel to visit this restaurant - a real gem.
