Excellent meal, delicious octopus, thank you so much for this moment

Don’t believe everything AI tells you. It recommended this restaurant as the number one choice for fish and seafood, but it also incorrectly said that it wouldn’t be open until Thursday (today is Tuesday). Fortunately, we hadn’t chosen either of the other two restaurants it recommended, so we continued along Rue du Quai until we came across Auberge des Terre-Neuvas. To our surprise, we found that it was actually open. For our starter, we ordered shrimp with a mustard sauce, followed by octopus as the main course. The food was delicious. The octopus was perfectly cooked—tender and served with a flavorful side dish. The dessert (ice cream) and wine were excellent as well. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and happy to help us translate the menu. However, unlike in many restaurants in France, they didn’t automatically offer us tap water. Instead, we ordered a bottle of water, which we had to pay for. Overall, we had a very enjoyable dining experience and would happily recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for excellent seafood in Dinan.

Beautiful setting, peaceful location, refined cuisine, warm staff, we had a wonderful time, we will definitely come back.
