Anyone traveling through Burgundy and not stopping here is doing it all wrong. The restaurant is world-class with absolutely friendly service. Thank you!

A cozy little restaurant with a beautiful terrace and a stunning view of the adjacent vineyards. It's especially beautiful as the sun sets in the evening. Good service and excellent food. Traditional French dishes with a modern twist. A great wine selection! The snails are highly recommended as a starter. The filet de boeuf was also absolutely perfect, both in terms of flavor and cooking. Beautifully presented, without any unnecessary frills. I also particularly enjoyed the homemade French fries that came with it.

A wonderful restaurant on the edge of the vineyards. Very good food, friendly staff, and a stunningly beautiful garden. We'll definitely be back.

Nice location. Price quality not in balance. Too expensive for what is delivered. Nice view, great wine. The problem is not so much the total price. Only with the main courses. There are no vegetables. With the starter this was also served quite sparsely. A little more decoration makes it a lot better. 🥴

Superb location, the terrace behind offers superb views of the vineyards and it's peaceful. The chef is very professional. The meal was very good.

The beef bourguignon was so good when I tasted it that I forgot to take a photo, the plate was already eaten, excellent cuisine, attentive and professional service, very pleasant setting at the edge of the vineyards with a view of the villages,

Great restaurant, very good service and great view from the terrace! The beef bourguignon was excellent and the lemon crème brûlée was too sour for me, though.

Le Cellier Volnaysien

18/02/2026: The dishes were good and well-prepared, especially the trout with blue cheese sauce. However, whether it was the eggs meurette or the fish, the dishes weren't hot enough, which detracted from the enjoyment. The marc iced dessert wasn't up to the standard of the rest of the meal. The wine list was excellent, although the wine service was extremely slow. We were asked for red wine to accompany the cheese course and the end of the meal, but the waiter never came to take our order, which always puts a bit of a damper on the experience.

23/12/2023: I recommend this little restaurant to anyone who likes to eat well. Very good meal.
21/11/2023: The cuisine is very original and its unique menu concept, already widespread in other establishments, is interesting. Despite everything, we will not return there because the welcome (and the service, except for the young girl) was far from being "family" as the website led us to hope and the room is cold due to its black decoration ( not to mention the lack of cleaning on the glass shelves...).
