We came for a romantic dinner and had a wonderful time at Le Cellier Volnaysien. They offer delicious regional cuisine, and the service is very attentive and welcoming. We chose the Volnay menu, and everything was beautifully prepared and generous: a special mention goes to the coq au vin, which was delicious. A very pleasant evening in a cozy and friendly setting.

Everything was perfect! A very warm welcome, a lovely setting, and a delicious and generous fondue bourguignonne. We received such excellent advice on our wine selection that we left buying a bottle; we really appreciated the wine cellar concept.

For over 15 years, we've always ended our stay in Burgundy at Le Cellier Volnaysien before heading back to Switzerland. The warm welcome and authentic cuisine are matched only by the excellence of the wine list. The new generation at the helm clearly respects the knowledge they've acquired, as they remain very attentive to their customers. 👌👏👏👏 Thank you to those who have passed on their expertise, and thank you to those who allow us to continue delighting our palates in this superb wine cellar. A very nice, clean restaurant with attentive service. We had the chicken supreme and the chocolate fondant; it was magnificent and very tasty. Good value for money.

Auberge des Vignes

15/04/2026: We had a wonderful time at the Auberge des Vignes in Volnay. The welcome was warm, the setting pleasant and authentic, perfect for enjoying a delicious meal in a convivial atmosphere. Special mention goes to the beef bourguignon, absolutely delicious: melt-in-your-mouth meat, a rich and perfectly balanced sauce… a real treat! You can taste the care taken in the cooking and the quality of the ingredients. A truly excellent restaurant that we wholeheartedly recommend; we will definitely be back!

23/12/2023: I recommend this little restaurant to anyone who likes to eat well. Very good meal.
21/11/2023: The cuisine is very original and its unique menu concept, already widespread in other establishments, is interesting. Despite everything, we will not return there because the welcome (and the service, except for the young girl) was far from being "family" as the website led us to hope and the room is cold due to its black decoration ( not to mention the lack of cleaning on the glass shelves...).
