Very nice location, food, drinks and service were top-notch.

We went to eat here today on the recommendation of our hotel. It is located along a busy road, but what a surprise inside: friendly service, a well-kept setting, a beautiful view of the vineyards, and some tasty, simple, and regional dishes! Highly recommended for anyone who wants to combine simplicity with such deliciousness.

A wonderful lunch at Auberge des Vignes in Volnay. We came as a family with two grandmothers and a 2.5-year-old toddler, cycling in from Beaune along the Voie des Vignes. Our little one struggled with the bike ride and we arrived quite late — well past the start of service. Despite this, we were welcomed warmly and seated without hesitation, and the team took wonderful care of us right through to the end of service. We ordered two of the house classics: the œufs en meurette and the bœuf bourguignon. Both were exceptional — the eggs perfectly poached in a deep, glossy red wine sauce, and the beef beautifully tender with rich, well-balanced flavours. Properly Burgundian cooking, exactly what you hope to find in a village like Volnay. The setting is beautiful, and the private parking made arriving with a child much easier. Thank you so much to the team for their patience and generosity with our family. A genuine highlight of our trip to Burgundy.

We had a wonderful time at the Auberge des Vignes in Volnay. The welcome was warm, the setting pleasant and authentic, perfect for enjoying a delicious meal in a convivial atmosphere. Special mention goes to the beef bourguignon, absolutely delicious: melt-in-your-mouth meat, a rich and perfectly balanced sauce… a real treat! You can taste the care taken in the cooking and the quality of the ingredients. A truly excellent restaurant that we wholeheartedly recommend; we will definitely be back!
