Had a really delicious pizza with my teenage daughter. Cozy little place. The lady who makes the pizza is friendly, helpful, and works hard. Lots of choice of specialty pizzas. Definitely recommended.

28/09/2026: A great find this Sunday! Not much was open in Navarrenx, so we were very happy to find this place. The food was good and plentiful, the service was a bit busy but very friendly, the price was reasonable, and the location was lovely. We recommend it.

La Taverne de Saint Jacques

10/10/2026: The meat was excellent, however, the dessert (Basque cake) was very disappointing. The crust was too thick and hard, the inside tasteless—in short, a dessert to avoid. Several seats were available (and remained empty throughout our meal), and we were automatically seated in the sun.
01/10/2026: Nice eatery, good service, good food.
