The meat was excellent, however, the dessert (Basque cake) was very disappointing. The crust was too thick and hard, the inside tasteless—in short, a dessert to avoid.
Several seats were available (and remained empty throughout our meal), and we were automatically seated in the sun.

A huge thank you to the entire team at La Taverne for making my father's retirement party such a success! As a regular lunch customer, I didn't hesitate to recommend their catering service (a seated dinner with appetizers) to my parents for this event. The result: wonderful owners and staff, excellent advice, a superb and convivial meal, and great value for money. Quite simply, everyone asked us for the caterer's name and showered us with compliments!

We loved everything, especially sitting on the terrace. Navarrenx is a beautiful medieval town, and this restaurant is perfectly at home there. Well done! We'll definitely be back 😊

Passing through these lands in our camper, we stopped in this beautiful medieval village, a destination for many pilgrims on the Camino de Santiago. We stopped here, drawn by the name and the many people. What can I say? A delicious lunch with dessert. Amazing price.

We stumbled upon it by chance, and as they say, sometimes things just fall into place. The value for money is truly excellent, we had a wonderful evening, and what's more, a singer/guitarist (Mat Guitare) was there on August 29th. The atmosphere was fantastic, very friendly, and the staff were very pleasant and responsive. There's really nothing negative to say; everything was great. The children had a blast and thoroughly enjoyed themselves. Thank you, we'll gladly be back.
