An excellent welcome, a room with a magical view. Very comfortable bedding. But also a finely crafted cuisine, a perfect mastery of cooking. Harmonious pairings, juices and tasty reductions. Subtle seasonings. A truly beautiful culinary experience that goes perfectly in this setting. A service with great care, and relevant proposals with real great discoveries in terms of wines. In short, a very nice address in Chamonix!!!

The restaurant has been operating under a new chef since November 2023. With previous experience at the 3-star Flacon de Sel in Megeve, the chef turns out excellent and creative food but the service has yet to quite reach Michelin 1 star. Expect the service to improve as the staff is better trained.

A charming place, an incredible view of Mont Blanc, attentive service, comfortable rooms. In short, a very beautiful place a few minutes walk from the center of Chamonix. We will definitely come back to taste the local cuisine this time. And there you have it, second time we've stayed there. And this time we tasted the local cuisine. I would only say one thing....FABULOUS. A cuisine full of sweetness, a menu made by the hands of masters. Go ahead, this cuisine is worthy of the best. In the top.

3.8/5 The views are absolutely incredible. The grounds are lovely, you can tell it’s probably gorgeous in the summer months. It’s only a short walk to the closest gondola. Maybe 5-7 minutes. 15 min walk to town. Rooms are lovely, spacious. little walk out deck to sit and look out to Mont Blanc.Sauna and hot tub are great for after skiing, very tiny so only two people at a time in each, but have to ask them to turn on. Hot tub was like warm. spa room is cold, Unfortunately breakfast is not included, which for the price should be. €25 each for breakfast. We were there for three nights, two of which the restaurant was closed. Supposedly there was afternoon drinks and cake but we only had for our first day. Staff was okay, sub-par at best. not what to expect from a Luxury hotel. Especially when there were maybe only two other couples staying on the grounds. Cleaning service was fantastic, she was so nice and pleasant and always said hello. It is stated that it is a luxury prémices, but you always had to ask for the ‘luxury’ amenities, ie to have the sauna turned on, one time we asked and were told it wasn’t a good time, 18:00. No other recommendations for dinner or where to go. Our correspondance before our arrival was better than when we were there. It was also eerily quiet. No music or Atmosphere, was just not what you expect in a luxury stay. Small corrections could make this a better stay. One of the best parts about traveling is meeting new people, we didn’t meet any at Auberge Du Bois Prin, I think because it was a quiet week but the premise doesn’t allow it besides for dinner or lunch. We had been traveling to different resorts for 14 days prior and stayed in 3 hotels from St Anton to Chamonix. A little goes a long way.

Inn offering a magnificent panorama, delicious seasonal cuisine, tasty, magnificently presented and served by smiling, friendly and very friendly service staff. A dinner mastered by the brigade at our own pace offering privacy with the other tables. An inventive, creative chef highlighting his current preparations for his dear customers. Very happy my husband and I to have found the Auberge du bois Prin... This place is a pure marvel.

We had lunch today at the Auberge du Bois Prin. Delicious moment. Quentin Veyrat's performances show that this young chef is following in the footsteps of his master Mr Emmanuel Renaut but also of his illustrious cousin! Careful presentations and quality, well-crafted dishes. The room staff is kind and attentive, which allows us to enjoy delicious moments while forgetting the troubled and harsh world around us.

Excellent auberge if you are looking for a quiet place away from the hustle and bustle of Chamonix, yet only a 10 minute walk from the village center. Its location, on top of the hill, offers breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains. The rooms are very comfortable. The staff extremely friendly and helpful. Unfortunately restaurant was not open on the night we were there so could not have dinner but breakfast was excellent, but coffee quality could be better.
