This is the place you are actually looking for. Real French food, all home made, including the dessert. The cheese is all from a local farm. The wine selection is moderately priced but very typical and indicative of the region. The menu is small and perfect, with traditional dishes and just the right amount of creativity. Amazing view of the river, and very thoughtful and proper service. The decor is a bit sad, but who cares. Go here, it's amazing.

The setting was nice, the service decent, but there was no heating, so it was a bit chilly (even though these days people are trying to save money, there's a happy medium)! Luckily, we had a drink to warm up. As for the meal, we were disappointed, mainly by the fish dish on a bed of boiled leeks, which was tasteless, and the very basic dessert, a sort of tartine.
We had been here several times and had never been disappointed. What's going on to cause such changes?

A truly wonderful experience, a beautiful setting, a lovely view of the Maine River, beautiful tableware, impeccable presentation, and as for the menu... we were delighted, a real treat for the taste buds. It's a shame the service wasn't up to par, as the view is lovely.
We were among the first to arrive and weren't offered the daily specials that were given to the other customers...why the different choices? Was it based on favoritism?
Despite pointing it out, there was no apology or gesture of goodwill from the managers or the waiter...

A family meal in the conservatory for 21 people. We were comfortably seated and enjoyed a lovely view despite the lack of sunshine. The staff were very friendly and efficient. The menu was enjoyed by everyone. A wonderful time in a very pleasant setting. Many thanks, and we will definitely be back.

We wanted to organize a business lunch with clients; it was a success in this magnificent setting!
