I hadn't been there in a long time. Terrace or air-conditioned room, we chose the room. Still as good as ever, and top-notch local wines: Coteaux de l'Aubance and Savennières.

Excellent meal, we were served by Mathieu, who was very friendly and attentive. The chef even came to see us at the end of service. The food was very good and the portions were generous. We happily recommend this restaurant.

02/02/2026: This is the place you are actually looking for. Real French food, all home made, including the dessert. The cheese is all from a local farm. The wine selection is moderately priced but very typical and indicative of the region. The menu is small and perfect, with traditional dishes and just the right amount of creativity. Amazing view of the river, and very thoughtful and proper service. The decor is a bit sad, but who cares. Go here, it's amazing.
30/01/2026: The setting was nice, the service decent, but there was no heating, so it was a bit chilly (even though these days people are trying to save money, there's a happy medium)! Luckily, we had a drink to warm up. As for the meal, we were disappointed, mainly by the fish dish on a bed of boiled leeks, which was tasteless, and the very basic dessert, a sort of tartine. We had been here several times and had never been disappointed. What's going on to cause such changes?
