We tried it after visiting the Musée d'Antan, and we weren't disappointed—quite the opposite, in fact. The dishes were generous and the dessert excellent.
And seeing the other dishes from the neighbors, we just wanted to go back very soon to order the other dishes.
Very reasonable prices.

Too bad it’s a bit far from Luxembourg, if not I will be more than a regular.
Fourth time and always the same pleasure of dinner here.
The quality of the welcome always very nice, the kitchen always so excellent, the service always at the top, the perfect atmosphere.
But this time the most: Michel, what satisfaction to discover a person for whom the quality of the customer relationship is at his peak and I do not chew my words.
If I did not leave for new adventures I would have tried to debauchery him.
And I would have taken the risk of being welcome :-)
Bravo for this recruitment.

Hello,
Quite noisy depending on the day, but we can't do anything about that. Let's just say it's part of the charm.
However, the cuisine is truly artisanal in most of the dishes I tried. The morel sauce is worthy of a 3-star restaurant.
The bread is really very good.
RECOMMENDATION:
I'm warning you to avoid meat cooked on a stone.
Because even if it's cooked blue, it becomes like chewing gum by the time you eat it, especially since it's extremely hot, even scalding hot, and also practically inedible with that stone heated in the oven. No one offers any other alternatives, hence my recommendation.
SUGGESTION:
Order the plate instead. And then you'll see the difference! I had a homemade Paris-Brest for dessert tonight, and the puff pastry for the croissants was really sour, I don't know why, like drinking water from a glass bottle with water that's way too hard.
For my taste, there was way too much caramel; a drizzle would have been enough because caramel is invisible on a black plate, so I don't really see the point.
However, this presentation makes sense on the black plate because it's scattered with little pieces, like snowflakes or stars in the sky, all over the plate; it was magnificent!
The Paris-Brest filling is really very good, light, and flavorful.
I was still quite disappointed with the taste of the pastry; I was expecting a surprise with such a beautiful presentation.
But... You know, it's like when you drink ultra-hard water from an old tap, which lingers in your mouth for a long time... Well, this pastry had the same taste. Let's also talk about the non-alcoholic cocktail they serve you with a whole bunch of external gimmicks (a yellow parakeet), but unfortunately in a small glass found in mountain lodges, whereas I was expecting a larger size like you find everywhere, given the enormous presentation. And quality.
In short, there are a few adjustments to be made, which also proves that it's made by hand, and it's truly a ++.
That said, just look at the menu on the a la carte menu, because it's not 7 pages long.
The menu is quite short, which justifies the chef's commitment and dedication to quality, and for that... I take my hat off to him!
Another point, the server is truly amazing, one of the best I know, and I can tell you that I've been to all kinds of restaurants in my life, including Michelin-starred gourmet restaurants in Switzerland, but this server is truly top-notch, just like the owner!
Conclusion:
... There are still small adjustments to be made, in my opinion and at my level, but it's completely legitimate because this is artisanal gastronomy (and not a chain or an industrial franchise).
In other words, it's human, and we have the right to make mistakes.
Okay, in all transparency and without any difficulty, it's largely acceptable 👍🏻.
This is the second time I've been to this inn and I'll be back! Until I taste perfection, because at around €50, you need the feeling that goes with it, and we're getting close.

I gorged myself so much on their delicious food that it took me three days to regain my normal appetite. What's more, the waiter was very knowledgeable and, above all, friendly and welcoming (a tall, dark-haired man who must unashamedly lift 120kg in the dining room).
Of course, the restaurant's unique setting and decor add another layer to the feeling of stars in your eyes when you first discover the inn. My only regret is not having thought to bring cash to give this great gentleman a bill!
A small detail that made me smile: the Comtoise cheese directly embedded in the inn's wooden walls.

Our little waitress was smiling, pleasant and jovial. Despite the crowds in the restaurant, she was able to remain attentive and take the time to interact with the customers. It was really appreciated and it made a difference. Thank you for this warm and lively moment! In terms of meals, everything we had was also very good!! It's flawless
