Friendly welcome, rustic setting. The snails are good, the trout too, however the meat is of poor quality, a piece of nerve and then the home fries which are ultimately frozen fries.
The food wasn't anything spectacular but the place in itself was a nice place to have lunch and enjoy a beer in the shade.
Food:
The Beouf tartare was alright but nothing more. Although you do get quite many sides to the tartare and the fries were crispy.
Service:
The service was good I guess. I used the little french I know but it's always difficult when they don't want to use English even if they speak it, or meet you half way.
Atmosphere:
We sat on the outside facing the alley next to the restaurant which was a nice place to sit. I think the outside has a nicer atmosphere than the inside.
It's also nice coming to a village like this when everyone passing by greets you bonjour✨
Delicious snails, tasty wine, and my cheesy chicken probably packed 8000 calories of amazingness into my gradually expanding waistline. How the French stay thin I'll never know. Worth every bite.
Very nice establishment where the welcome is very warm and the atmosphere friendly. We were welcomed with great sympathy. The dishes there are good! If you are passing through Cluny, you can stop there without any problem.
A restaurant like I like to find during my travels. Simple but tasty cuisine, no-fuss but very friendly service. We enjoyed a pistachio terrine, and especially an old-fashioned blanquette whose meat was tasty and very well prepared.
