Fantastic welcome! I went there with a group of friends, JB gave us a super warm welcome, lovely pub atmosphere right in the middle of the forest, we stuffed ourselves silly, great food, thanks to Théo! I highly recommend it!

We had a wonderful evening at the Auberge du Coucou, run by JB! We ate and drank as we pleased in this secluded spot in the heart of the Mormal forest – simply incredible. We were welcomed like family! Thanks again to him and his cook, Théo! We'll be back.

We ate at this establishment and highly recommend it. The welcome was incredibly warm and friendly. The dishes were excellent, of very high quality, and the portions were generous. The setting is magnificent, like stepping back in time. The inn is located right in the middle of the forest. The restaurant is very peaceful. A big thank you to the chef; we will gladly return. Many thanks, and see you soon.

01/09/2026: We had a wonderful time, the three of us, including my dog. The welcome was absolutely perfect, and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal. It was a pleasure to return to this place, which I first visited decades ago. Thank you, and I highly recommend it.
11/08/2026: Superb location, idyllic setting. We had lunch under a tree; no need for a parasol despite the intense heat. We received a very warm welcome, and the starters were excellent. My only complaint was about my Thierachienne salad: it was supposed to include green salad, cherry tomatoes, a hard-boiled egg, Maroilles cheese toast, and sautéed potatoes with onions, but the onions weren't there. And not even a small gesture of goodwill, like a complimentary coffee, would have been appreciated!

03/08/2026: Wow, that Flamiche is really tasty. I hadn't seen that one before. Here you can enjoy a nice meal and a drink on the terrace. Of course, you can also sit inside.
30/07/2026: We stopped by for a drink and a charcuterie board. We also had some excellent Maroilles cheese tart. You could tell it was homemade. The owner's kindness was much appreciated. We'll be back soon. There's parking. There's a small terrace.
