17/05/2026: We had a wonderful evening at the Auberge du Coucou, run by JB! We ate and drank as we pleased in this secluded spot in the heart of the Mormal forest – simply incredible. We were welcomed like family! Thanks again to him and his cook, Théo! We'll be back.

26/02/2026: I've been coming from Lille 2 or 3 times a year specifically for the generous and delicious food at reasonable prices for over 30 years, and yesterday was a huge disappointment. Where's the menu gone? Where's the choice? Where's the set menu? Just a few choices on a chalkboard and the prices have gone up significantly. A real letdown, it's disappointing. What a shame, it used to be a superb place. 😒
