A beautiful setting, traditional and welcoming! The dishes are homemade, tasty, and generous. The daily menu offers excellent value for money. We greatly appreciated the chef's kindness, who allowed my daughter to choose a different dessert because she didn't like the ice cream offered on the children's menu—a rare and appreciated touch! One small drawback (as in many restaurants): the children's menu remains classic, with the traditional steak and fries or nuggets and fries. A great place in Volvic that we recommend without hesitation!!!

18/08/2024: The Brittany - Auvergne marriage works pretty well! The pancakes are very good and the service pleasant, and this view is magnificent.
18/08/2024: The savory pancakes were good although I would have appreciated more filling in the pancakes to benefit from a dish more suited to my desires. For the sweet crepes, we took the apricot crepe of the moment, it lacked caramel for my taste and the apricots were slightly dry… About the room, the service was very good. The toilets could do with cleaning as there were large cobwebs. From the outdoor terrace, the view of Volvic and the small massifs is unmissable. Eating out in the evening at this place is a haven of

Au chaudron gourmand

12/11/2025: We had lunch today at Le Chaudron, the three of us. The meal was very good. The service provided by a young man and Sandra was perfect. Both were very professional and friendly. Highly recommended.
