A pleasant surprise and a great find. A small menu with excellent, seasonal ingredients. The quality-to-price ratio is very reasonable (€55 for an aperitif, starter, main course, and dessert). Everything was delicious, and the dessert was generous and delightful 😋. Definitely worth checking out 😉

I was looking for a restaurant to enjoy foie gras poêlé, and discovered that L’Auberge du Cygne featured it prominently on their menu. We ended up dining there twice, on two consecutive days during our stay in Strasbourg, and both experiences were excellent. The duck was cooked perfectly on each visit, and the foie gras was beautifully seared — rich, flavourful, and expertly prepared. The risotto served alongside it was also delicious and complemented the dish very well. The service was warm, welcoming, and attentive throughout. I truly admire the chef for consistently producing such delicious, high-quality food without fail. It is not easy to maintain that level of excellence, and it made our visits especially memorable.

24/07/2026: I ate a burger; the meat was excellent, the bacon melted in your mouth, and the plate was generously filled. Very affordable price.
24/07/2026: I had flambé, local beer, and a salad with melon, jambon, and avocado, and everything was delicious. The interior was very clean and chic, but since the weather was nice, I ate on the terrace. It wasn't a river view, but I actually liked that because it wasn't noisy. The staff were also very friendly. I recommend this place if you want to enjoy a delicious meal in a quiet setting!

01/07/2026: We loved the atmosphere, the service, and the food. A bar with its own regulars... Definitely highly recommended!
19/06/2026: Passing through Strasbourg between trains, after 9 months of travel, I rediscovered the festive atmosphere of French terraces in summer! A pleasure to have discovered this place both in terms of atmosphere and cuisine (goat cheese and honey tartine, delicious fig) :)).
