Excellent from start to finish. A feast for the senses, both visually and in terms of taste, and a very warm welcome. A must-try for a truly enjoyable culinary experience. The interior is more pleasant than the terrace, which overlooks the parking lot, and it's cooler inside.

Discovered on a website, we went to check out this restaurant and booked for the next day (Saturday evening during the Bayonne Festival). The dining room is beautifully decorated, and the seats are very comfortable. The menu is short but features only homemade products. We ordered three starters (baby squid salad, country pâté, and a charcuterie board – what we shared were chorizo, sausage, and cured ham: all excellent!). For our main courses, we all chose the flambéed prawns with whisky, served with a salad and roasted potatoes. The prawns were enormous, perfectly cooked, very well seasoned, and flambéed right at the table. For dessert, we tried the profiteroles, the crème brûlée, and the apricot tart. The latter is baked to order, served warm with almond cream and a scoop of ice cream. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal, and it was very reasonably priced! We've found our new restaurant! I'm being a bit effusive, but the Auberge du Fronton is well worth it!!
