During our bike ride, we came across this highly-rated little inn and we weren't disappointed. Jean Marie, the owner, is very welcoming. His wife is in the kitchen. We thoroughly enjoyed dishes made with local products and typical of the Basque Country. The prawn salad and foie gras starter were very tasty. The lamb txilindron with Navarrese sauce was delicious! And the French toast, "le pastis" (which has nothing to do with the pastis we know), with its scoop of ice cream and red berry coulis, was simply divine…

We had a wonderful time at Jean-Marie and Solange's. The food was excellent and typical of the Basque Country, and the welcome was very warm. So much so that we went back the next day!

This is our first visit to the Basque Country, and encounters like this one highlight the value of the entire region and its people.

A great experience. From the start, the owners' friendliness stood out. The food was excellent. The duck and the meat were spectacular. For dessert, a kind of French toast with caramel ice cream. Highly recommended to visit and try their home-style cooking.

25/07/2026: A truly wonderful place to enjoy high-quality dishes prepared with fresh ingredients. Ludivine and Éric are incredibly welcoming and warm hosts. A perfect dinner, from the food to the service! The local produce was bursting with flavor. The best mussels marinière I've ever had! I highly recommend this place.
21/07/2026: Excellent from start to finish. A feast for the senses, both visually and in terms of taste, and a very warm welcome. A must-try for a truly enjoyable culinary experience. The interior is more pleasant than the terrace, which overlooks the parking lot, and it's cooler inside.
