Auberge du Moulin sur Duilhac-Sous-Peyrepertuse

We went hiking in the Verdouble Gorge. We hadn't brought anything, thinking we'd find a bakery offering snacks along the way. Nothing. (This is sorely lacking; there are quite a few "out-of-the-way" spots.) After a 2 km hike, we arrived in the village of Duilhac. We walked back up to this restaurant, which is a little further up the hiking trail. What a lovely discovery! The lady who served us was delightful and very kind. The setting is superb. We had a very good meal. And everyone was happy, because the children were already complaining about not being able to eat... We arrived around 1:30 pm and received a very warm welcome. The food is good and beautifully presented. Thank you for this wonderful experience! 😀 It just goes to show that sometimes you make wonderful discoveries in the unexpected!

I've been there three times already, and the hour-long drive doesn't deter me... the welcome is always warm. The shaded terrace is magnificent. The cuisine is expertly prepared and always beautifully presented. I recommend this establishment without hesitation.
