We had a wonderful time. The welcome was very pleasant, and the cuisine was a delightful discovery, with a wonderful blend of flavors that encouraged us to explore seasonal and local produce. A culinary experience of rare delicacy… I had the pleasure of lunching today at the Auberge du Pont d’Acigné, and I leave with a heart full of gratitude. My appetite was modest this lunchtime, and the team welcomed it with a kindness and understanding that demonstrate a true sense of hospitality, without judgment, without pressure, with a sincere attention to the well-being of the guest. This is rare, and it deserves to be commended. My delight? I traveled. Chef Sylvain Guillemot's cuisine is an invitation to a sensory journey, a cuisine that speaks, that surprises, that touches. A big thank you to him. Thank you also to Isabelle, the sommelier, for her insightful advice and her contagious passion. And a very special mention to our server, a tall, dark-haired man whose name I unfortunately didn't catch, who answered all my questions about the edible plants featured on the plates with remarkable precision and passion. What can we say about our evening? A very pleasant and welcoming place, just like the staff and the chef! We felt so comfortable. Pure bliss came from the excellent meal, of course, discovering celery (which I don't usually like) – a real treat enhanced with truffles. The desserts, with their perfectly executed sweetness, made the end of the meal perfect. Everything is there for a wonderful time: the food, of course, the setting, the warm staff, and the discovery of wines and local products. Thank you to the whole team for this experience.
