Passing through Montchanin for the Chamboultou festival in Blanzy, we discovered this place for lunch. We received a warm welcome and excellent service. The appetizer buffet was beautifully presented and plentiful, featuring Burgundian dishes and a delicious cut of beef. The bacon omelet was superb, bursting with freshness, and the desserts were homemade, including a sublime gelato! Thank you to the owner and the waitress, whose greatest asset is the restaurant's impeccable service. It's a place where the art of fine dining is practiced, ensuring that customers leave feeling truly satisfied.

A friendly restaurant where you'll find a wide selection, from the daily menu to à la carte options including frogs' legs, etc. The owner has a big heart despite his sometimes gruff exterior, the staff is efficient, and you won't spend two hours at the table eating just three courses.

I had booked a reservation for New Year's Eve 2025 for six people, but due to health reasons, I had to cancel. The owner was very welcoming and kindly returned my deposit check, asking for a small compensation in return. I thank him for his courtesy and professionalism. I hope to return soon. A. Berthelot
