Perfect meal from start to finish

Returning to the Auberge du Radal this August after a first visit a few years ago. Still as excellent as ever. The menu has been slightly revamped with a touch of modernity, but without detracting from the overall authenticity—and above all, the quality of the ingredients remains exceptional. A very warm welcome and a superb setting. I can't wait to go back.

I absolutely loved Auberge du Radal! The aligot is simply fabulous: creamy and stretchy to perfection. The accompanying meats are of remarkable quality, including the famous Aubrac farm-raised beef, which melts in your mouth. The setting is very pleasant with an unobstructed view of the mountains, in the heart of the Aubrac region, perfect for discovering local Lozère specialties like the regional charcuterie. A must-visit if you're in the area; I highly recommend booking for dinner. We also had a good, restful night in the rooms, ideal for hikers and pilgrims on the Way of St. Guilhem.
