We received a very warm welcome! After paying for the showers and toilets, access was very easy and straightforward. There's a bivouac area behind the hostel, perfect for pitching your tent peacefully in the protected natural area. (Admittedly, it's a bit difficult to hammer the tent pegs into the gravelly ground that's still being prepared, but with a little perseverance...!)

A typical and very quiet inn with a beautiful view! The meals are made with produce from the farm located just 2 meters away. The welcome is very warm; Sébastien, the manager, and Kévin, his employee, are lovely! I highly recommend it! Go for it!

We just spent four days with friends on a half-board basis in a 10-person dorm (there were nine of us) and what a fantastic experience! 🤪 The homemade food was excellent and plentiful, the packed lunches were very varied and generous, and the buffet breakfast was well-stocked. 🤪 The staff and owner were very friendly and attentive to our needs. A magnificent view of the mountains—in short, all the ingredients were there for a great time with friends. Thank you.

While hiking the GR5, we stayed at this place on a half-board basis. Minimal comfort, but better than a tent. Excellent location on the trail.

Sébastien gave us a superb welcome, taking excellent care of us and our dog! The setting is beautiful: the rooms are very comfortable and the traditional mountain meal is hearty! I highly recommend it.

Poor on the outside, rich on the inside. Neglected property, shared showers and toilets. Bed mediocre; but very clean. Extremely friendly service, excellent food (chef's choice), good breakfast, very good packed lunch. Wonderfully beautiful location.

15/05/2026: The bedding was very average and the room could use a refresh. That said, it was clean. We were on half-board. The soup was delicious and very filling. But even after a long hike, the meal was far too heavy: a starter after the soup, then a large sauerkraut, then a tart. The sauerkraut was frankly a disaster, with undercooked potatoes in particular. A shame. They should have made less, but better.
09/05/2026: Superb place! We had a very restful night during a hike around the Vosges mountains. The hosts are lovely, helpful, and very efficient. The evening meal was hearty and delicious. The room is functional. Perfect, we'll be back!
