26/03/2026: So, if you love simple, delicious home-style cooking in a relaxed atmosphere, this place is for you! No frills, no fancy dishes. Just good, home-style cooking at very reasonable prices! Plus, it's all homemade! And I love that! (Well, maybe not the peas 🤣) The homemade wild boar ham is sublime. Smoky without being too salty, a real treat. The sauerkraut is one of the best I've ever had. Delicate flavor, cabbage and meat seasoned just right, top-notch! The only thing missing was the Knackwurst. I always enjoy the friendly, informal atmosphere; you can chat with the people at the next table, which is an added bonus. And to top it all off, the prices are very reasonable considering the quality of the food. Appetizers, starter, main course, dessert, drinks for under €40! Just for the sauerkraut alone, I'd make the 1.5-hour drive to this lovely restaurant again. Thanks again for this wonderful family meal; everyone loved the friendly atmosphere and the delicious food!
