Incomprehensible: that's the word that best describes our visit, as the restaurant's rating is far too high compared to reality. Talking with locals, we were told it used to be much better, but that there's a real sense of neglect now. Although the setting is very pretty, the rest leaves much to be desired. The professional but cold service presented us with a menu that made no sense, offering set menus at different prices, while à la carte, all the starters and main courses were the same price. So why are the set menus priced differently? It makes no sense. We tasted two white wines by the glass that were completely uninteresting, even downright bad. What a shame for a wine region that offers so many wonderful wines. The dishes were barely prepared, with frozen vegetables and almost no flavor. The only exception was the amuse-bouche, which was far too salty. I don't like to complain without saying anything on the spot, but at no point was I asked "if everything was alright." Worse, we waited 30 minutes after finishing our main course, trying to order the next course, and finally left, canceling our dessert order. We clearly no longer had any interest in discovering the rest of the meal. The staff didn't even ask why we had canceled; they just said "okay" and that was it. In short, incomprehensible. Mind you, it's not bad per se, but if you're looking for a pleasant place to enjoy fresh, seasonal, and beautifully prepared food, this is definitely not the place.

It's been eight days since Bérangère and her husband prepared a delicious meal for our wedding anniversary. Don't hesitate to contact them; you won't be disappointed. 20/20 from start to finish. Thank you again to you both; it was a pleasure.
