Traditional French restaurant with great service! The meaty dishes were okay, but I wouldn’t recommend the vegetarian dishes. The presentation of the coffee is cute at the end

It was for a birthday meal that we chose bartavelles. A very successful birthday lunch in a magnificent setting and a caring team. Very attentive service, and excellent food from start to finish. Thanks to Bérengère for accompanying and serving with kindness and professionalism. Thanks to the whole team, don’t change anything. restaurant recommended, you will not be disappointed, 🌸🌸🌸

For our 3rd wedding anniversary we decided to eat in a gastro...I thought I would be dazzled by the cuisine (but no) certainly very good but nothing extraordinary for a gastro. I ordered monkfish which was not cooked (for a gastro it's not great = cook not at the top) it shouldn't cost more than €30 per meal. We had the right to an additional dessert (the chef's cream) to apologize. Too bad to quack

31/03/2024: Restaurant chosen for its daily special And it was a very good surprise The staff is very friendly and caring. The fried prawns for the dish of the day were not only nice sizes but the plate was copious
27/03/2024: Warm welcome despite the late hour. Good dishes served with good humor. We even went to congratulate the chefs in the kitchen.

22/10/2023: What to say? It's sublime, from the reservation to the café it's a most pleasant moment. The restaurant is perched in the middle of the climb which leads to the castle, seated on tables arranged around an old have we delight in the chef's abode. And damn what a treat! A culinary experience, it's so good, so well seasoned. Everything is homemade and in quantities limited to the number of seats for the day. The chef, boss, waiter because yes he does everything, is very friendly and makes us have a good time. We will come back without hesitation at the opening of the next season!
14/10/2023: Winning service! In old Vaison, it is from the bottom of the oven via the flight of stairs to the trickle of water from the washhouse that, without setbacks, Thierry, the ace of the abode, will FEDERATE all lovers of this traditional dish. Everything was perfect, don't change anything. We are already reserving our square in the central aisle for next year ;-) Pascale and Jean-Luc - Annecy
