A calm and relaxing place. I stayed there for two nights for work and it was very pleasant. The owner even lets you choose what to eat in the evening and prepares a dish from the menu (depending on what's available, of course). I recommend it.

We stopped by chance on our way to Rennes. Excellent service, very good food, a bit pricey, but within the French average. Highly recommended.

We were there for lunch, and what a surprise, an Alsatian inn in the Parthenay region. The food was excellent, everything homemade. The nougat glacé was superb.

This inn is a great place to stay, easy to find at the entrance to Parthenay, ideal for an overnight stop. The welcome is warm, the Alsatian specialties delicious, and the nights are quiet with comfortable beds. I highly recommend it!

Bar-Restaurant Le Drapeau

12/04/2026: It was a neighborhood bistro with a daily special and a clientele of regulars that it was a pleasure to see again. I didn't like it very much.
09/04/2026: The waitresses were super friendly, the food arrived in less than 10 minutes, the cheese was plentiful, and the prices weren't expensive. I highly recommend this restaurant.
