Bar-Restaurant Le Drapeau sur Parthenay

We clearly felt a difference in treatment between the younger clientele (we're between 19 and 22 years old) and the older customers. We received an age-related discount, but two staff members gave us the impression that it influenced their attitude: no smiles, one waitress avoiding us, we almost felt like we were bothering them. The food was good, but the service left much to be desired. We ordered a Cherry Coke, but without warning, we were served a Coke with syrup. We were offered ketchup, which we never received despite asking again. We finally had to go get it ourselves. Good food, unfortunately spoiled by service that made us feel unwelcome.

Very nice bar. We arrived at midnight on a pinball night and stayed to play on the terrace after only ordering one drink. They didn't pressure us to buy anything. Nice atmosphere. A bar that's kept its original charm and you feel right at home.

It was a neighborhood bistro with a daily special and a clientele of regulars that it was a pleasure to see again. I didn't like it very much.

The waitresses were super friendly, the food arrived in less than 10 minutes, the cheese was plentiful, and the prices weren't expensive. I highly recommend this restaurant.
