Another "WOW" experience. We stopped by the local market to buy some food items for our hotel room and thought, let's have lunch. After finding there was a restaurant nearby, we decided to eat here without reading any reviews. I not only give this restaurant 5 stars for it's food, service, and atmosphere, but also give the woman serving all the tables 10 stars. She was the only person serving all the tables with efficiency and grace. She could teach a couple of the Michellin star restaurants we've been to on this trip a few pointers. We had the snails and white asparagus for starters. Both were tasty and delicious. We then had the duck and seafood casserole...out of this world. I give a special shout out to the way the chef prepared the duck and the quality and seasonings for both the duck and the seafood casserole. Again, both were delicious. For the dessert, we had the mille feuilles. It was better than than Opera House Café mille feuilles in Paris and it was made by the chef. Everything was fresh, tasty, and served by someone with experience. If you're in the Loire Valley and want a meal that will knock your socks off, come here.

This isn't the first time we've eaten at this inn, and every time we've had a wonderful meal! Last night, monkfish tails for my wife, sweetbreads with morels for me… a real treat, a delight! No airs and graces, just simple dishes, but very well prepared, and sauces to die for! All at very reasonable prices considering the quality of the ingredients. Thank you to the whole team!
