The restaurant had a pleasant atmosphere, and the main course was very good, featuring local produce. The only downside was a noticeable lack of staff; we waited 35 minutes without being served or having our desserts ordered... A real shame considering the quality of the main course.

So good the photo arrived too late! 😁 An excellent truffade, generous and indulgent, accompanied by very good country ham and a green salad. The plate looked so appetizing that I completely forgot to take a picture before starting…
So, I can't let you admire the photo of the empty plate because I can't publish it, but it's magnificent. Ultimately, that's perhaps the best review I can give! 😂 Truffade is also available in the children's menu!! With cooked ham.
A very good meal, I highly recommend it.

We did not enjoy our last meal on Thursday, September 9th! When ordering, my husband ordered a salad, and since the service was slow, he asked what was going on. It turned out the salad he ordered was no longer on the menu! At the end of the meal, we asked a waiter to take our picture, but he was completely overwhelmed! Even though there weren't many customers left, he offered us another waiter, whom we are still waiting for! So, we were not very happy with this evening out with friends.

We stumbled upon this inn while looking for a restaurant during our visit to Issoire.
Everything is homemade, and the portions are incredibly generous. We loved the truffade (a potato and cheese dish) and the stuffed cabbage.
Even the ice cream is homemade. Don't miss the chance to stop here and sample the Auvergne specialties while in Issoire.
Be warned, this place seems very popular, as the restaurant was packed on a Wednesday evening, so be sure to arrive early or make a reservation.
