The food was good and we enjoyed our meal. However, we were disappointed by the service. The woman who served us was really unpleasant, which unfortunately spoiled the experience somewhat. It's a shame, because the quality of the food was excellent.

Our experience was mixed. The restaurant is pleasant, and we ate on the terrace. However, we ordered the venison cooked over a wood fire, and the meat really didn't have the flavor associated with that method. This was the case, however, for other dishes such as the lamb chops.

Hello,
We were welcomed on June 21, 2026, for a table of 12 people, for dinner only, no hotel stay.
The waitresses and owners were incredibly attentive and pampered. From the appetizer to the main course and dessert, we thoroughly enjoyed our meal.
I highly recommend this inn.

A wonderful experience at Auberge Lorraine in Le Valtin! A charming setting, delicious and generous cuisine, and a warm welcome. Many thanks again to the lady who greeted us and kept us laughing throughout our meal. Ideal after a hike in the Vosges Mountains. Highly recommended!
