In the attic of the Ravoux inn, we first discover with emotion the last resting place of the painter Vincent Van Gogh, an attic room, preserved in its original state, then the neighboring room with its period furniture , before ending with the screening of a film (15-minute documentary). Guided tour only. Nice shop. A must-see place in Auvers sur Oise.
Please note: this is not a museum. People come there for the atmosphere that reigns there... to better understand the last days of the painter.

This is a very special tour, whether you are a fan of Van Gogh, or not. The tour is short but very impactful insofar that you are in the room where one of the world’s most renowned artists spent the days weeks of his life. The tour guide was superb. If you are in the environs of Auvers Sur Oise, not to be missed.

I really liked this visit but I find it a shame that the place where Van Gogh ate was not included in the visit. Complicated entry point to find, that’s why I’m removing a star. Otherwise incredible and very moving experience. The guide was really cool and with great luck it was only my husband and I for the visit. Which allowed us to talk a little longer with the guide!
I recommend as an experience, being a big fan it was incredible for me.
The emotion also felt on the scene 🫶🏼
From the people of Lorraine!

An unforgettable journey through time!
I had the chance to visit AUBERGE RAVOUX known as the Vincent-Van Gogh house and I left delighted! The guide was able to capture our attention by explaining every detail to us with great clarity and passion. Thanks to his precise and lively explanations, we could easily imagine ourselves being at the time when Vincent Van Gogh stayed here. I really felt like I was taking a real leap into the past.
I was super happy with this visit which allowed me to discover so many fascinating stories and anecdotes. I highly recommend this experience to all art and history lovers.

Worth seeing and interesting. The tour in French was also very helpful and gave an interesting insight into Vincent van Gogh's last 70 days

Very interesting visit, explanations from the guide very clear and accessible to young people
We visited with a 7 year old child.
The fact that everything is as it is transports us to the past
We would perhaps have appreciated being able to take a few more minutes but are satisfied with this visit
