An absolutely remarkable stay! I must especially highlight the professionalism and exceptional kindness of the staff, who made the experience perfect from the very first moment. The grounds are magnificent and inviting, the spa is excellent, and the restaurant offers a truly fantastic culinary experience. The exceptional décor also gives the hotel a unique atmosphere. I would gladly have extended my stay—a highly recommended address!

The food was excellent, and the wine pairings were superb. Unfortunately, the service noticeably declined towards the end, which slightly marred an otherwise lovely evening. However, we would gladly return and hope this was just a one-off.

Yesterday, we dined at Auberge St. Walfrid for the first time, after it had been recommended to us several times. The ambiance is a matter of taste, but I liked the combination of blue-turquoise and orange. We received a professional welcome and were shown to our table. We opted for the "small" menu, currently priced at €108 per person, which included three wine recommendations (two white and one red). We also ordered the steak tartare as an additional course (from the larger menu) – a good choice, as it was, in my opinion, the highlight of the meal. The menu was excellent in terms of quality and execution. Unlike other French Michelin-starred restaurants, the seasoning was just right. At €108, the value for money is outstanding! What I felt was a bit steep was the surcharge for the steak tartare. Around €45 per person is too much for the dish, however good it was. The other components (aperitif, wines) were reasonably priced. The service was fine. It was a bit slow at first, but improved after that. A minor issue arose because cutlery was left behind for two out of three people when the appetizers were cleared – meaning two people had two sets of cutlery, while the third only had one. This shouldn't happen, as it can be confusing for guests. What was particularly good, as always in France, was the bread. No one can beat the French when it comes to baguettes and light rolls – combined with the flavorful butter (I suspect with ajvar?), it was a wonderful experience. The service was bilingual and friendly. All in all, it was a wonderful evening, and we would gladly recommend the restaurant.

We enjoyed a delightful and peaceful break at this elegantly and tastefully decorated hotel (the tiles are magnificent). The welcome was very warm and the staff incredibly attentive. The pool, jacuzzi, and sauna were lovely, clean, and modern. The rooms were beautiful and very comfortable with impeccable bedding. And what can we say about the meal? A pure delight that left us with wonderful memories... we'll definitely be back!
