15/07/2026: As regulars at this restaurant, it's usually one of those we consider a "safe bet." We came for lunch on Monday, and it's the first time I've been disappointed. We ordered the salmon tartare with avocado as a main course. It's clearly not meant to be a starter, as the portions were woefully inadequate, the avocado was practically nonexistent, and the waiter hadn't mentioned it beforehand. Three tiny cubes of avocado barely scraping by with some cucumber, a bland tartare, served with fries. Nothing about this dish was right. A delivery issue can happen, but when you pay €22 for avocado, you don't expect cucumber. I'll come back, but not to order a starter as a main course, and we'll ask the waiter if the plate will be complete or not.

21/07/2026: We went to have dinner at Royal indien and had an amazing experience. From food to service everything was top notch. Specially the curry "Agneau Aubergine" had very unique taste which will make me go back. The cheese naan and butter chicken was also delicious. The serving portions are generous, so I will definitely recommend this restaurant 😊.

31/05/2026: My favorite place in Sarreguemines. Philipp is a wonderful person, a creative chef, and a passionate host. The atmosphere transports you back to the 70s. It's lovely to linger here and simply be. Whenever we're in the area, a visit to Terminus is a must.

21/06/2026: We visited the Michelin-starred restaurant Auberge Saint Walfrid. Given its excellent reviews, our expectations were understandably high. Upon arrival, we were seated in a beautiful dining room and looked forward to beginning our culinary journey with a nine-course tasting menu. As the restaurant is located in France, we were naturally greeted in French. Unfortunately, we do not speak French, so we politely asked whether communication in English or German would be possible, as these languages were also indicated on the restaurant’s website. Given the restaurant’s proximity to the German border, we felt this was a reasonable request. One would expect that, after such a request, communication throughout the evening would continue in one of these languages. Unfortunately, this was not the case. Time and again, the staff reverted to speaking French, making it difficult for us to fully understand the explanations and enjoy the experience. The sommelier was another disappointment. When we asked whether a wine pairing was available with the menu, he seemed not to understand the request and responded with several unclear wine suggestions, without explaining which wines would accompany which dishes. The result felt rather disorganized and confusing. Furthermore, we were left with the strong impression that we were not considered particularly interesting or valued guests. The food itself—which was truly outstanding—was often placed in front of us with little or no explanation. There was a noticeable lack of attention and engagement from the staff, and even a smile seemed difficult to find. In summary, the service was deeply disappointing and, in our opinion, not worthy of a Michelin-starred establishment. The cuisine, however, was exceptional and deserves every compliment.

04/06/2026: It is rare these days to find a really comfortable and unique place to stay. And indeed this beautiful Auberge that I found by chance, as it was half way on my route to the UK, is just that. I have returned 3 times and it remains a memorable experience. It has exquisite rooms, pleasant staff and wonderful food and wine. There is a lovely pool too. You wouldn’t know if you passed by in a car what treats lay inside for a weary traveller. Exceptional - I love staying there. Neal

For my wife's grandmother's birthday on Sunday, April 19th at noon, the atmosphere was fantastic, the welcome was impeccable, and the food was excellent (thanks to the chef!) and the service was superb. My family and I loved it, and I will definitely be back. Bravo!

Of course, at the next window, we told her how delighted she was. So, thank you to that woman! I asked her name and told her, "My name is Charlene. It was a pleasure meeting you, and keep smiling!" 😃 😃 😃

07/07/2026: Today, July 7th, 2026, at 7:10 PM You get home from work after 7 PM, thinking you'll simplify your evening and satisfy your hunger after a long day in sales. You arrive home on the other side of town. You think you'll have a quiet meal with your husband, but then THEY'RE MISSING A SANDWICH. You immediately call them, and they tell you to come get another one, knowing that one of you will be eating alone, meaning you have to cross the whole city again. They ask if they could at least make more fries so you don't end up with a hot sandwich and cold fries. And they reheat them in the oven; they're very good too. Your husband lets you eat and goes to get the sandwich, and they offer you ice cream, knowing you just crossed the whole city again, but they don't even bother to make more fries. IT'S A SHAME. NOT COMMERCIAL AT ALL THIS WAS THE LAST TIME FOR US AND THERE'S BURGER KING, YOU NO LONGER HAVE A MONOPOLY. Too bad we can't give less than 5 stars 😡😡😡

10/07/2026: Brasserie des Arts has thought of everything: two terraces, one of which is a place where football gives way to conversation. Football fans will find plenty to enjoy, as will those who prefer a quiet meal. Generous portions, friendly service, and an atmosphere that proves it's possible to please everyone… even the die-hards who mistake an offside for an art exhibition.
